The ABT Volkswagen Golf VI GTI program, which was just unveiled today, is probably the first one for the new model and includes both performance upgrades and styling modifications. The ABT Volkswagen Golf VI GTI comes with two power levels that take the 2.0 TSI engine to either 260 PS or 300 PS. The standard GTI develops 210 PS. The first level of power of the ABT Volkswagen Golf VI GTI is achieved through a re-programmed ECU, while the second one comes with an upgraded turbocharger. The 300 PS version of the ABT Volkswagen Golf VI GTI is able to get from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.0 seconds and comes equipped with a 30 millimeters lower suspension and upgraded brakes.

The aerodynamics package of the ABT Volkswagen Golf VI GTI includes a new rear bumper and spoiler attachment, side skirts, a new front grill and apron and a new 4-pipe exhaust system.
