That aside, the car looks great and comes with 580hp straight from the factory. Avus thought they could improve on that so they installed a Sportec 2.7? in diameter high performance exhaust system, racing catalysts, and re-programmed the ECU which increased the horsepower to 700, and torque to 800Nm, with an amazing 0-100 km/h in 3.9 seconds from a V10 Bi-turbo.
All this translates into a top speed of 340 km/h or 211 mph. From the factory it is electronically limited to a max speed of 250 km/h or 155 mph which is a big difference from what AVUS was able to produce. Some additional performance parts they added were new springs dropping the car by 40 mm or 1.6 inches. For the looks, large 22 inch Sportec Mono 10-spoke alloy wheels are fitted nicely, with a carbon fiber front lip and rear diffuser.
