Following Michael Schumacher’s announcement Tuesday that he is calling off his comeback to Formula One, test driver Luca Badoer will replace the injured Felipe Massa for Ferrari at the European Grand Prix in Valencia on August 23.
The 38-year-old will drive the F60 for the first time in Spain and will also be the oldest driver in the field. The Italian’s last race came in on October 31, 1999 in the season-ending Japanese GP.
