Ford tuning specialists Steeda Autosports have been teasing the 2010 version of their Q-Series Mustang for quite some time, and apparently for some of their customers, it can’t come soon enough. To help deal with requests, the Florida-based company has introduced a Sport Edition model that utilizes an array of parts already in the Steeda catalog.

This particular steed is tweaked to handle, with upgraded billet lower control arms, sport springs, and 20-inch chrome wheels wrapped with Nitto NT05 high-performance tires. Other modifications include a sport shifter, underdrive performance pulleys, a performance air cleaner, and distinctive Steeda graphics.

Steeda’s press release read as follows:
While work is progressing at a feverish pace for the upcoming launch of the 2010 Steeda Q-Series Mustang, we have been flooded with requests from those that just cannot wait wanting us to make available a special “Steeda-ized” version of the 2010 Mustang. To respond to these many requests, we are proud to announce the immediate availability of the 2010 Steeda Sport Edition Mustang.

Using a donor 2010 Mustang GT as a sound foundation to build upon, the Steeda Sport Edition provides for an immediate injection of power and increased handling that only the Team at Steeda Autosports can provide. With a MSRP of just $6,995 (not including the cost of the Mustang GT), the Steeda Sport Edition elevates the overall vehicle’s performance to an entirely new level of performance.
