There has been a lot of talk about these two cars, perhaps a bit too much talk. So the guys at Fifth Gear decided to settle the matter once and for all to see which machine is faster around their test circuit: The Ford Focus RS or the new Mitsubishi Evo X?

The first test for these two speedsters is handling and most people will say that the Evo X and its all-wheel drive system should be a clear winner in this department. The second phase of testing is to see which one is the fastest around the Fifth Gear test track.
