Ferrari unleashed a stable of 599XX Evos at the Ferrari Racing Days in Suzuka Japan for the first official shakedown. The 599XX Evo is strictly reserved for Ferrari Corse Clienti (race clients) participating in the track-based research and development program.

The Evolution version of the already extreme 599XX is a non-homologated sports berlinetta which features an electronically processed active aerodynamics package, redesigned rear diffuser and special compound Pirelli tires.

Mechanically, the 599XX Evo receives a 20 PS power output increase to 750 PS (740 bhp / 552 kW) and 700 Nm (516 lb-ft) of torque. This is accomplished by redirecting the exhaust pipes out the sides for easier breathing. Additionally, the 599XX Evo weighs 35 kg (77 lbs) less and has a shorter final gear ratio for faster acceleration on medium- to high-speed tracks.
