The British team from Autocar have put the Ford Focus RS  up against the new Volkswagen Scirocco R in their latest video review.

Both cars are front-wheel-drive performance cars, but looking at the numbers, the Ford should come out the winner. The Ford Focus RS has a 2.5 liter engine which develops 305 hp and 440 Nm of torque. It can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.9 seconds and has a top speed of 263 km/h. On the other hand, the Volkswagen Scirocco R has a 2.0-liter engine with 265 hp and 350 Nm of torque. This means the Volkswagen Scirocco R needs 6.4 seconds to reach 100 km/h and has a top speed of 250 km/h.
