wimmer-gt2-07Wimmer Rennsporttechnik Solingen have built a reputation for turning existing sports cars into faster and hotter models than they already are. Now they have decided to do a job on the new Porsche 997 GT2 Biturbo.

The new package includes extensive performance upgrades, as well as aerodynamic enhancements. The Wimmer Porsche GT2 comes with a re-programmed ECU and two optimized Wimmer turbochargers, a sport exhaust system and modified cylinder heads. The program also includes sport camshafts and a sports clutch. Thrown together into one package, these mods translate in a power output of 680 hp and 870 Nm of torque.

Tyres are improved by fitting 20-inch Sportec alloy wheels wrapped with Dunlop tires size 235/20 up front and 325/25 at the back. The upgraded suspension, carbon fiber mirrors and rear boot spoiler and race decals complete the package.

The Wimmer Porsche GT2 will take you to 100 km/h in just 3.4 seconds, 200 km/h in 9.78 seconds and 300 km/h in 25.8 seconds reaching a top speed of around 356 km/h.

The Wimmer Porsche GT2 will cost you around €29,800.
