Nissan’s plan to challenge the MX-5
It looks like the Nissan 370Z is to get a baby brother, which will be a spiritual successor to the 200SX and set its sights on killing the Mazda MX-5.
According to Auto Express the topless, rear-wheel-drive two-seater would be based on the 2006 Nissan Urge concept, while the newcomer will also take styling cues of the 370Z.
The sports car would feature a turbocharged 1.6-litre petrol engine with a power output of about 150kW.
Sources say that it will go on sale in 2011.
